Event Details
RiverQuest conjures up the Spirits of the Riverfront again this fall aboard the historic vessel Discovery. This second-annual installment features the antics of a zany crew of pirates, witches and whatevers in a 2-hour tour on Sat. 10/11, Fri. 10/17, Sat. 10/18, and Fri. 10/24.
Passengers hear 13 ghastly tales--some truer than others--of life and after-life along the rivers and waterways of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Tours depart the North Shore Dock at 7:00pm
RiverQuest and special guests share stories of storm-ravaged rivers and islands, tales of local insect invasions, and accounts of deadly fog create an unsettling atmosphere on board. Seasonal activities and treats lighten up this tour as well. Because of the nature of the content, this tour is most appropriate for visitors ages 8 and up.
This event has a total capacity of 30 ticketed passengers.
Please note: there is a $3 charge for parking in Carnegie Science Center's parking lot.
Trips sail rain or shine, and some portions of the program are held topside on the covered observation deck where we can see the city. Adult tickets are $15; Seniors (62+) are $12, and children 17 and under are only $10.
